My previous Dr. moved, and I wanted another female Dr. associated with NCH in the Palatine/Rolling Meadows area. I assumed that a "new patient" visit with Dr. Hennegan would be more thorough than with my former Dr., but after several minutes of reviewing my chart, she briefly listened to my heart/lungs, and essentially said, "If you have no specific complaints, then have a nice day. Very personable. Been going to her for years. Tells you straight up with out being rude or coarse and takes it one step at a time. Really good doctor.
Poor bedside manner--will not return.
Dr. Hennegan is easy to talk to and very warm and personable. She and her staff alike are top notch!!
No time management at this office. We have been waiting in the waiting room for 30 mins and then in the patient room for 45 mins, no soul came to tell us that there is a delay. The doctor did not apologize. I had to go out and ask whats happening. The office staff is rude. I said I have a question and the receptionist was typing away something for 5 mins, not looking up. If you are at the front desk, its your job to be available. I think this behavior trickles down from the top (the doctor)
Dr. Hennegan was thorough and thoughtful. She really made me feel like my health mattered.
Overall ok dr. but did not care for her bedside manner.
