Let me start by saying I highly respect first responders and the work they do. But I called in an emergency situation with a very valid question, and someone was too arrogant to even answer my question; they caught an attitude and hung up the phone. To me that is unprofessional and unacceptable as a first responder.
I have most respect for emergency personnel. But my mom was taken against her wishes and our wishes to Lehigh Regional Hospital. We were told that because they were short staffed she had to go there. My mom went thru hell there Lehigh regional refused to transfer her out and now my mother is in Heaven because of this. As Americans we have a right to say where our care is. Why do we have to go to a hospital that will hurt us and not safe to go to because they are short staffed. Talk to a commissioner on this and he said many ... read more
