I got to the e.r. at 4:30. 7:30 came around and I was still waiting. I had a deep wound, cut on my lower leg. I left went to cvs and got some medical supplies. Guess im going to a different hospital tomorrow after work. No where is it alright to make anyone wait 3-4 hours to get some stitches. The service at this hospital is terrible!!!! Will only go back if im dieing! Do better Hendricks county hospital!!!!

Dr. Heavins is who I saw on my last ER visit. He was hard to hear and understand, mumbled or talked too low. He seemed distant and not the best personality. I would not want to see him again if possible. One nurse was borderline rude, one was nice. Triage nurses were very kind. I have been to HRH ER several times over the years. Your experience really will depend on who you get as attending doctor and nurses. Not many choices in Hendricks County. The worst hospital you can go to. There is so much racism. If you are a person of color then they don’t care how much pain you are in or anything. They will take others first. I was clearly told by the nurse that as long as your vitals are good we will continue taking other people in front of you whose vitals are not good. That is so stupid. When you ask them they say they don’t know how long it will be and roll their eyes and gives you attitude.
Took my dad here because he is having trouble breathing and chest pains. Got there around noon and it’s 7pm and we decided to leave because of the wait, this is one of the worst ERs/hospitals I’ve ever been too. Over 80 people in the waiting room, every chair taken up by a person and dozens of people standing cause there is nowhere to sit down.
