They were awesome but now both Dr Stokes and Dr Allrich have died. Hendricks county animal hospital no longer exists. The hospital is now a used car lot
Dr. Stokes is an excellent equine vet. He is very knowledgable and does a lot of teaching for you the owner while he is attending your horses. He always comes day or night to take care of my sick horses. I highly recommend him
Dr. Katy Portwood is the best! She has a wonderful "bedside manner" and I know that she has my dog's best interests at heart. She has never tried to push unnecessary services on me and I appreciate that she is respectful of my financial limitations. Her assistants are knowledgeable and caring. I also like that Dr. Portwood is aware of her own limitations and would give me a referral if a situation arose that she was not comfortable dealing with--in short, she doesn't have the "God complex" that many other vets have.
