Excellent barbecue and sides. Nice elevated patio. They have daily specials. Thursday is pulled pork nachos. My favorite!!!
Very good restaurant located in wonderful Historic Downtown St. Charles. The atmosphere is so inviting and comfortable and the décor is very eye-catching. My main dish was the burger and it was one of the best burgers I have ever tasted. My favorite drinks were the Jacob's Mule drink and Smokey Sangria. I highly recommend giving Hendricks a try if you have not already – you are missing out.

I would HIGHLY recommend this BBQ place in St Charles - just make the drive if you're anywhere in the STL area. We've been to many of the other highly recommended BBQ places in the area and this is by far Really the best in BBQ !!! The atmosphere, drink menu, food , decor and location is great!
Since the weather was unseasonably beautiful yesterday, my girlfriend and I went for a bike ride on the Katy Trail. Time got away from us and we started to get hungry. I remembered seeing something on Facebook about Hendricks BBQ a few weeks ago and checked the address. We were only a few minutes away and the Katy Trail actually runs right behind their parking lot. A wonderful Friday night! BBQ is as much about the food as the experience. Our party of 6 tasted nearly everything, with the brisket, pulled pork and mac & cheese voted our favorites. The reclaimed water works building creates a wonderful atmosphere, and the live blues music drifting up from the basement complimented the setting. Kale (our server's name) was wonderful! After 2 hours of good food and good times, we left fat & happy. And the bill?.... less than $100, or roughly $15/person.
Just too damn expensive for my taste .....
My first (and last) experience for this restaurant was not pleasant. We ordered Carry Out and chose "The Whole She-bang" for $36, which describes a sample of all of their BBQ and 4 sides. Usually when a meal is that expensive, it's enough to feed a family...which is what we were trying to do (2 adults and a toddler). With that order and an appetizer of Deviled Eggs, the total came out to be $47.
