I was sent to anoter place after being here. was here for a few yrs at baystone. Food terrible an cold most times.
my mothers back was broken after a fall. amazing that the xray done at the lodge was negative. yet her physicians xray showed a broken vertebrae. she refused rehab because of back pain during her stay. she was coerced during this time by being told several times a day she wouldn't heal and if you don't use it you'll lose it. but still refused (which was odd because my mother highly believed in rehab). rehab is billed by participation so we understand why they force patients to do rehab. it's not cause they care 25% do the re... read more
I loved the lodge and most of the people there. But after telling me and my daughter that the stay would be covered 100% by my 2 insurance. Six months or more later I get a bill from them for over $500. I called 2 or 3 times before someone finally talked to me about this, they claim I stayed longer than what my insurance would pay. Which is strange because PT moved my release day up so this wouldn't happen. I don't trust their billing.
My sister Hilda is here since Feb. The facility is very clean and well maintained.. The staff is friendly and helpful. Her over all care has been very good.. the food is good. We just had Thanksgiving lunch there with Hilda, everyone could have 2 guest , the service was great and the food was too. We had a nice visit. Hilda loves the games and crafts and enjoys cooking sometimes. We recommend The Lodge at Mills River - Health and Rehab to anyone needing a home..
My stay was very nice. The staff is awesome! I had knee replacement and stayed 12 days. The food is great as well. It's a new VERY clean rehab. It's like staying in a lodge. I highly recommend it. Barbara Huntley
management sucks and the only thing they care about is your money
My mom is here. We are very pleased with her care ,the staff and of course the beautiful rooms and center in general.
