This place gets 2 thumbs down. Ob Coordinator was supposed to provide a valid referral to see a specialist and refused to sign off on it stating they will not be establishing care. She effectively blocked my access to necessary medical treatment. Stating i was high risk due to me seeing a cardiologist. Given the fact she referred me to a specialist it was her responsibility to sign off on the formal referral so that I could access the care I needed. Lovely and knowledgeable staff.
I was seen by Dr. Poston. She and the other doctors are trust worthy, helpful, coordinate well with my PCP. They have helped me keep my health on track even before I had the great PCP I have now.
Dr Snowden, the nurses, lab techs, and front office staff are all wonderful. I feel that I am receiving great care at Henderson & Walton Women’s Center. Thank you!
No personal care, little professionalism, and no privacy. The first red flag was that all practice communications are begun through chat/text, as staff are unreachable by phone. After waiting weeks for my appointment, I never even got to see doctor. After 1.5 hours of waiting, I left without an exam. The office layout, combined with an appalling open-door policy to the lobby, leads to a complete lack of privacy, with nurses asking private medical questions within easy hearing of anyone in the lobby or hallway.
