I should have known if a hospital has two stars to stay away. I always always go to Camden but my husband convinced me to go to Lexington. He got there at 10:30 whatever time. They finally checked me in and my daughter had to be at work at 2:00. Honestly naively I'm used to Camden. I thought that I would be done by now. I wasn't. I tried to get a nurse to listen to me because all I needed to know was my foot fractured or not. That's all I wanted to know and I tried to get them to listen. The physicians and staff have provided excellent care of my mom and been very kind. The facility is clean and safe. The staff is competent and kind.

DO NOT GO HERE!! This is by far the worst emergency department anywhere! I went I for a work related injury. They did an x ray and never examined me, and said nothing is broken, go back to work. The male nurse took me in a room alone to give me a shot in my butt(I was previously sitting in the hall because all rooms were full) he stabbed me so hard with the needles I had bruises over a week later. I don’t bruise easily. Followed up with my doctor and was taken off work, limited activity and now physical therapy.

Been sitting in triage since 1230 am and havent seen anyone but nurses. Even then they are too busy gossiping and playing on the internet to care.....

Waited for 6 hours to be told "you're fine, go to school the next day." Went someone else and was diagnosed with a fractured ankle and torn ligament. Complete waste of time, doctors are a joke.
