This review is specifically for the spa and restaurant, Bittersweet. I came for a restorative retreat and I paid for a day pass to the spa. This included a massage (or facial), access to the pool, wet and dry sauna, jacuzzi, gym, the grounds (hiking trails), access to the lounge space and lunch. The massage was great. On Oct 3-5 2025, I had the pleasure of attending the Return to Self retreat hosted by Nadia Murdock Fit. What a perfect weekend! Firstly, the specialized activities of journaling, stretching, meditation, and art were amazing. Nadia effortlessly led us through a healing journey, and I am so glad I got to be a part of it. Foster Hospitality has done magnificent things with this beautiful property, turning what was a rather rustic new age place into a luxurious,yet down to Earth spa.
The first thing that stood out was the customer service- outstanding! As someone that owns my own businesses, I am very keen to the little things. Everyone that works at Hemlock (Miriam, Alexa, Brandon, Dio, Rose, Marissa, Chris, Rebecca, Dante, Tony, Evan and Nico) all truly enjoy what they do and it shows. My husband and I treated ourselves to a stay at Hemlock Neversink in September, and I am so happy we did. From top to bottom, our stay was amazing; it was tranquil, relaxing, but still varied enough for 2 people who have trouble sitting still!
