I was very disappointed with the vet clinic I had and was recommended to Hemlock by my pet sitter. They were polite, friendly, and professional. I got my Koko’s teeth cleaned and very happy. Since then, they have seen my Kitty Kat for an abscess, and now just last week for my 13 yr old Carter’s teeth cleaning. They again were kind and gentle with my old man and he is doing great! I pass 2 other vet clinics to go see them and highly recommend these ladies!
My experience has not been in a positive light I'd say. I've been taking cats for spaying/neutering over a few years now. The latest one was really traumatizing. I take care of cats from different situations,my own and rescues. This one particular was my own and she was young so still had a lot of life to go. She was an indoors born and raised kitten and her age when I took her to Hemlock was about 4 months. She had her procedure In July of 2024. I am extremely unhappy with the way I feel I was overcharged for tapeworm dewormers for our 2 kittens. I paid $43.92 for each application of Defender. I could have purchased this for less than $10 on the Internet. The instructions state it needs to be applied below the neck. I inquired as to why they put this on the skull between the ears! They seem to believe this was correct. They also said I need to return in 30 days for a second treatment. This is Bullcrap! Took my cat recently, i understand that vets are doing their job to recommend a bunch of things and guide you through the responsibilities of having a pet. However, the vet had an aggressive attitude and tone toward my cat and no respect. They recommending me things that nobody wants a vet to tell you that were not medical based.
