Had a delicious meal tonight at Hemingways. We had the sunset dining menu. My husband had the jumbo fried shrimp and I had the filet medallions. Both were great but my husband kept taking bites of mine because my meal was so delicious. The seafood gumbo was also amazing. Enjoyed the whole experience.
The food we ordered was great quality, highly recommend the fried mozzarella app ! It was the favorite of all the apps we ordered. Burgers are excellent also. Brownie sundae for the little one was a hit too! We didn’t order anything too complicated, but what we did order was executed very well. Shout out to Gia (hope we spelled correctly!). She was an amazing server, and went above and beyond.
We went to Hemingway's to celebrate our 34th Wedding Anniversary. All the wait staff and managers like Kevin, Christian and Bar Manager, Bill were so wonderful! They treated us like family. We felt so special. The food and service was exceptional! We plan on going back very soon. Hemingway's has become our favorite place!
Wow, I had high expectations with the name of this restaurant and I've been here before. It's above average (B-) with exceptions. Location is perfect inside hotel, for nearby areas and right off the beach. Service and decor is on point along with warm atmosphere. Bar is lively which can get loud at times and dancing on select nights. Music selections are jazzy and old school leaning towards older crowd early in week My food...salty clam chowder soup couldn't finish and had tuna tartar which was very good..That's all folks! We had dinner at the Hemingway for the first time while we were in Cape May last week. Beautiful atmosphere the second you walk in, great service, and the beach is right across the street. I got the Broiled Seafood Combo and was absolutely blown away. Beach Creek in the Crest used to be my favorite seafood spot, but from now on I’m going to The Hemingway.
