Had a pleasant experience all ER staff including the security were very helpful and courteous. Minimal wait time for triage.

ER is a horror story. They expect people with a broken leg to walk to sign in desk for blood pressure checks. Rude, no wheelchairs, or beds available.

What a nasty hospital! Gawd, the only one in town. I took my dad there yesterday and was in for a shock. I live in San Diego. We have nice hospitals. This place was dirty, disorganized, obsessed with security to keep drug addicts out, slow with service and overall awful. I have got to get my dad out of Hemet!!! Some of the staff worked hard, most did not. The Dr. looked like a drug addict with 4 day old stubble on his face. Sheriffs there with hand cuffed prisoners. I was scared! They took blood and did tests and would not t... read more

77 yo Mother in Law taken by ambulance 3 weeks ago. STILL there. Her meds were never "gone over" and they were giving her Tramadol 3x a day, when she does not take it. She has to have steroids due to no pituitary gland, not given. Had pneumonia and sepsis, urinary tract infection when admitted. Got MRSA ( staph infection in mouth) while there. Has liver failure, ended up in ICU there for days. A doctor there, and a nurse told us if we didn't get her to a "better" hospital she'd die. Case manager and her GP did not think she ... read more

First off, let me say "I am a nurse"~I Know what good care is, and what bad care is.I know ER's are busy, and sometimes you have to wait. I know you don't get "cured" there. You need "follow-up" for that. But I do expect to be treated like a human being, who is in severe pain, and needs some appropriate medical help. ... A couple years ago, I broke my nose and face, the care was fine. There was blood allover my face-my problem was hard to "ignore".... Last month, I went in via ambulance, because my knee was locked in one pos... read more

I have been to er mabey six times in the past year between my two daughters and i. And everytime, except once Dr carpenter was our er dr. he always listens amd helps his patients beyond what he is entitled to.. I do think that hemet is a crappy hospital but dr. carpenter makes it worth going to. I think its awsome going to the er month after month knowing u will see a familiar Dr who knows and remembers you and your medical history. This hospital deserves a better rating cause of Dr.carpenter

This hospital has improved beyond recognition. The doctors and nurses are wonderful, my Mom was a patient there and received excellent care. I can honestly say that I recommend this hospital as a good place to be if you are sick. The staff go out of their to be nice, my Mom was very sick and is back home again. Thank you everyone at Hemet medical Center
