My husband is going through cancer care , radiation , chemo and immuno right now . The nurses are wonderful but the cancer center itself offers no support services . There is no nurse navigator , no counselors for either the patient or the care giver . The facility itself is crowded and there is no privacy . I am always in the way when I accompany him for his treatments .i respect the kindness and competency of the staff , I’m just not happy that if you need something other than a treatment , you are on your own to navigate ... read more
The quality of care is unsurpassed. Dr. Aviles takes all the time you need to discuss, talk, stay informed, and carry you through the rigorous cancer treatment. And the nursing staff? Unbelievable in their care, knowledge, and relationship with you. The admin team is always courteous, efficient, and willing to work with your life schedule. No need to go to Boston. Top cancer care is right here in our back yard. PS: I'm 19 months cancer-free! Thanks to all.
When my John died they sent me a condolence card. They were more family to him than his own. Thr Prolonged his life for about a year
