Brought my ring in for possible repair, my regular jeweler said I had cracked stones in my halo. The stones are moissanite, which is a mimic diamond, but supposed to have strength very similar to that of diamond. 3 stones are cracked. A female jeweler at helzberg told me she thought it might just be dirt under the stone and she would send it to be chemically soaked and they'd call me if the stones we're actually cracked. I bought a ring from this store a while back and the ring came with a "lifetime guarantee".we brought the ring in today to find out that the ring was discontinued many years ago and since we didn't have the warrantee card and we didn't bring it in every 6 months( both my wife and I never recalled ever hearing this information) that there was nothing that they can do for us.we even offered to pay for the repair and the salesperson stated that they wouldn't be able to fix it.it had been fixed there once before for another issu... read more
