Best Burger in Oregon! My family loves this place. Stopped in again yesterday for lunch and it was just fantastic!
Don't ever order anything else. I made the mistake of ordering a grilled cheese, or should I say bread with plastic. They brought me grilled bread with presliced, processed American cheese. It was disgusting! Thank the beer gods they had PBR on tap or I would have walked out.
Customer What a great surprise to find such a gem! The food was great, they get wonderful musicians and where to begin with the atmosphere. If you love architectural design you'll love this place for that too.
Helvetia Tavern is the best burger around! literally this is the best burger around! and the hats on the ceiling will keep you entertained for hours. Nothing can compare really. Don't forget to ask for some goop!
Finally tried a Helvetia Tavern Burger! I have lived in this area my whole life and I finally went out to the Helvetia Tavern to eat. It was greasy, huge portioned food, which is exactly what I was hoping for. The burger was great, just as I had been told. The fries were good too. The lemon-aid was awful, so get a coke or beer instead. A great drive out there too. I will defiantly be going again!
I'm a believer! I came from Southern California and I will have to say, nothing taste like an IN-OUT Burger until now. Helvetia wins hands down, I'll bel back. Kathy S.
Best Hamburger Around The place is small and old. But it has the best hamburgers around. It shows because people come from all around just to eat there. It does get busy at lunch time, and there isn't a lot of seating.
helvetia Tavern There is nothing fancy here. The old building has not been "modernized". Always busy because the burgers and fries are simply the best. Emphasis is on great taste with no regard to calorie count. This is old rural Washington County at its best.
tavern Their hamburgers are not only huge but delicious. Hard to eat it all. The atmosphere is typical of a tavern and loads of fun. Definitely a casual atmosphere. Prices are reasonable and you will have a ball. Recommend it highly. I don't know of anyone that went there that did not have a fun time and thought the food was wonderful.
