The companions who took care of my mother were all fabulous. My mom was not an easy woman. Due to her dementia she had a hard time understanding English and talked Dutch back to them, but they were patient, working with my mom as she presented that day. If l had to make last minute requests or changes, Janette was always willing and able to accomodate them.

When our mum finally agreed to consider some in-home support, her favourite nurse put us in touch with Helping Hands. Janette's warmth and low-key approach was well received and Mom was able to personalize the type and level of support she was comfortable with. Perfect.
