Our family has had an excellent experience with Helping Hands of Cleveland TN. Initially, we were nervous about finding someone to care for our Mom during the day. After two unsuccessful contacts to direct referrals, we called the Better Business Bureau of Cleveland and they gave us information about Helping Hands. Helping Hands has been so good with my Mother. Mom was so nervous to begin with at having someone she did not know spending the day with her. She has had two Helping Hands caregivers and both ladies have been so joyful and kind, they have made mom feel right at ease. It’s so nice to come home and see mom smiling and laughing and enjoying her time with her caregivers. Helping Hands of Cleveland was very helpful during the last few weeks of my father's life on this earth. I live out of town and needed someone local in Cleveland to help care for him. The director went the second mile to help care for my father and then after his death helping me to take care of things.
Helping Hands has been helping us for six months. My husband has Alzheimers, and Helping Hands has been here for us in so many ways. They have made it possible for us to live independently and provided such excellent care that I have had much less stress in my life and am able to be a happier caregiver. They have gone more than the second mile over and over again. They are reliable, compassionate, empathetic, supportive and much more. They are truly a blessing and I highly recommend them.
Management is lousy. They switch up caregivers without notice and don't keep clients informed of changes. Employees are excellent for the most part, but the owner is a piece of work. Don't use this company unless you are willing to compromise your standards.
