My husband warned me that the owner of Helping Hands was very rude but I ignored his advice and went anyways because it was convenient. I regret that decision and will never be back. The owner of Helping Hands is in fact very demeaning. I spent over \$150 on plants and one died, and when I went to ask for a refund/discount, he bombarded me with insults.
Fair warning, the owner of this nursery, a man in his late 60 s will treat you horribly! Whether he knows he is doing it or not, he will be short with you, treat you like a moron and pretty much tell you that you are one, and then yell at you and get in your face as if he is threating you. Great business sense!!! There are other nursery s in Irmo with better service and better selections. If he thinks this is how to treat customers, welcome to the real world sir!
