History Established in 1987. The Helping Hand Missions was founded in 1987. A number of churches in Santa Rosa County had a burden to help men transition from prison to productive lives. The Faith Baptist Church in Milton, Florida, who had an active jail ministry at the time, took the lead in establishing this organization. Since its inception HHM has helped hundreds of men through its City of Refuge program, as well as families in need. I just tried to purchase a pair of children’s rain boots. The sign said children’s boots were $5. I thought that was a little much for the condition they were in but said what the heck. When I went to check out, the lady rang them up and said they were $12. When I told her what the sign said in the children’s area she immediately got an attitude and said “well my sign back here says $12”. And refused to budge. This thrift store was a joke. We are here from out of town and this place had some of the most RIDICULOUS pricing. Saw a pair of wedges placed in their “boutique “ section. These shoes brand new at target cost me 30 bucks original price at target 29.99 they have them listed for 40! helping hands is trying to help their pockets because this was the worst get over I’ve ever seen

I just want to say that this thrift store is Awesome, I always find something I want there! But my most recent experience was Amazing, The Manager Patricia is So Friendly Helpful and So Sweet, She really went over and beyond to help us out when we bought something but had to figure out how to get it to our house! She really worked with us and helped in every way possible! They get some really nice things in there... This place is full of all sorts of finds for a reasonably set price. We got a gun holder tooth pick cupcake things and thinking about a couch. And may I mention how wonderful the man that checked us out was he was definitely a nice man
