Very professional and very knowledgeable. They got the work done in a timely fashion so I could have my boat back for this weekend. I would highly recommend anybody needing work done, especially if you have a Volvo penta to bring it to helmuts. They will definitely be getting all of my work in the future. In 2001Helmut's Marine provided a complete Volvo Penta package to re power a 1974 Sea Ray. The actual install was by Collin's Marine on Bethel Island. It's been the perfect package for performance. The transom is made of fiberglass and marine plywood. Last month I noticed leakage in the bilge. Both Julian and Giancarlo of Helmets provided great service and recommendations as to options for transom rot. They and Helmut's Marine are hight recommended. I plan to use them in the future.
Knowledgeable parts people manning the phones! Huge parts inventory in stock, even for older Volvo Penta applications. Super fast shipping. I made two orders from southern CA and had my stuff in two days for orders before 1pm pacific and three days for one order after 3pm. Overall a Great experience. I created an account and will use Helmut’s exclusively moving forward.
