Dr. Helm is an excellent and professional Opthamologist. His staff is efficient and care about the patients. I highly recommend Dr. Mark Helm.
Dr. Helm took care of my first cataract in 2002 and it went perfectly. He performed cataract surgery on my second eye recently and again things went perfectly. I would not hesitate to see him for any eye condition.
Dr. Helm took out my cataracts, and after surgery I still was blind in my left eye. Dr. Helm worked and worked to find the problem and finally had me do an MRI of my skull. Found massive pituitary tumor pressing my optic nerve. Dr. Helm referred me to one of the best neurosurgeons around and I had the surgery. When I woke up in post op I could see 100% from both eyes. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Helm and his staff.
Dr Helm and his staff handled an extremely scary situation with kindness and finesse. They saw me immediately communicated with specialists on my behalf and implemented every possible level of testing to help solve what seemed to be an impossible puzzle. It was obvious that knowing my fears Dr. Helm and his staff handled me with a special touch staying in constant communication with me. I never once had to hunt them down for anwsers they called me. I know I am in good hands at Helm Eye Cente
