Beware of the chipmunks...
I've never entered the wilderness from this trail. 2002, I entered from south end of Gisela Az. Having stayed at a small section of Tonto forest on westside of creek. Had to wait just shy of 2 weeks, for the creek to lower enough to cross. There are very few humans, water is scarce. I spent, off and on, 3 months in there! Some of the animals you will encounter have never been exposed to ppl!! !! MY MOST AWESOME ADVENTURE!!
Stayed for three months, away from society...🤔
