I am very disappointed with the service at Mazda of Valencia and Mazda of Van Nuys. First, I called Mazda of Van Nuys and they scheduled me for a service appointment. When I arrived, they told me I had to leave my car. I explained that I cannot be without a car because I need it for work, and I asked about a loaner vehicle. Had my wife’s 2007 Mazda CX7 at Valencia Mazda more than a week they fixed the key problem i had but that’s it they didn’t even realize there was no oil in the car i had a misfire in cylinder 3 and a throttle body problem i don’t believe they ever even looked under the hood
Unfortunately, the overall experience has been underwhelming and disappointing. 4 visits and 21 days in the shop, from July to December. Reached out twice to Jack Elliot, the service manager , and have not heard back. Car is a 2024 cpo, bought from hello, and did not come with blade keys. It took 3 visits to get the correct keys and 1 visit to fix a tech’s mistake. I’m not sure if this due to unpaid warranty work vs paid, but something doesn’t seem right with current procedures. Great experience with the service department. We just bought a used Mazda and had only a few days to decide to keep or return it. I was able to get a next day appointment to do a full inspection to help us decide. They were obviously busy but accommodated my time constraints. Cassandra was a real pleasure to deal with. We decided to keep the car based on the inspection results, and I know we'll be taking it here for all our future service needs.
Hello Mazda on Creekside Road in Valencia California has quite possibly the worst implementation of AI. The once brilliant service department with world class attention to detail has deteriorated rapidly and severely. Call the service department to ask a technical question and the AI chat bot intercepts every attempt and goes far beyond rational to prevent you from speaking to a human.
