Short but steep—your calves will feel it. The switchbacks open up to views toward downtown and the Hollywood Sign on clear mornings. It’s dog-friendly and people are courteous about sharing the path. I like hitting it early before the sun gets intense. Street parking fills up fast, so plan accordingly.
Had a great time, just starting to do some hiking and it was painful but it was a beautiful day. Watch out for parking since the block is by permit only. Tickets where getting place on windshield of the cars.
