As a retired couple looking to stay on in our home, we reached that point in time when a cleaning service would be a real help to us. Hellamaid is our first experience with a cleaning company, and we were delighted with their service. Shanika and Lisa were friendly and worked very efficiently to clean our house. We look forward to their visits in future.
I thought I'd give Hellamaid a shot for our move in clean. It was pretty expensive for a team of four cleaners. I hate to say it, but it was pretty disappointing. Parts of the house were "fine", others not so much. There were spots that were not dusted or wiped down, basic spots that should have been taken care of whether or not it was a move in clean or regular clean. Not recommended for moving cleans as they cannot keep their appointments. They cancelled on me the day of with only a few hours notice and attempted to reschedule without even contacting me prior to confirm if the new time would work (4 days later). While I realize that unexpected things can happen, by going with a company of this size the expectation is that they would be able to find a replacement for the same day or next day at the latest.
