I had never been in an inpatient experience before and I will say that the entering was extremely rough and the first three days were terrible for me .... and so I left. If I could I would rate this place a zero. The clinical staff is terrible and unorganized. The only therapist I could see, Kristina Copley, was very rude and would treat you like you and what you said didn't matter. I was facing severe depression due to a severe and sudden health decline and I needed to help to cope with the news. I had to rate Helix a 3. Disheartening to have to do so. I say this because this treatment center has so much potential. It has so many good, genuine, and authentic people on staff, the best therapists I’ve ever worked with, and one of the best doctors I have ever encountered, psychiatrist Dr. Atallah. Beautiful home, wonderful support staff and great chef. Would suggest a slightly more robust schedule of activities, as well a somewhat more compassionate approach from one of the counselors.
Too much down time for the price. I would not recommend.
