Ive been going here for about a year for eye injections and Dr. Chiranand (for retina) is straight forward and thorough. The staff are all kind. And for those complaining about wait time, it clearly states that it can take about 2-3hrs during the appointment. He’s only one Dr and does the best he can for all his patients. I recommend this place.
Dr. Diab handled my wife's cataract surgery very capably.
Meta and Jade were great. I had lipiflow for dry eye caused by Meiboen Gland Disfunction. Helix is the only ophthalmologist in the area who performs this procedure. Although insurance doesn't cover this, their cost is less than half of the average cost. Meta is extremely competent and the procedure was easy, quick, and pain free. I had the procedure yesterday and I am already feeling better.
Dr. Diab is a great doctor. I have been with her since her days at the Hammond Clinic. She is extremely knowledgeable and professional while explaining everything in layman’s terms. She was quick diagnose my torn retina and refer me for surgery with a retina specialist, probably saving my sight. I have referred my whole family to her and they are also very happy with her care and treatment. The facility and the staff are also very pleasant. I highly recommend Dr Diab at Helix Eye Care in Hammond, Indiana.
