I am reading these negative posts, I said who are they talking about. I will tell you we have nothing bad to say about Helios. From the moment they walked into our home until a few days after my mom passed when they visited. It was hard to put mom on hospice. When they came to do intake, they explained everything in full detail. My mom loved everyone is she came into contact with. Very caring and compassionate helped my grandmother to the very end with all the steps to make sure she was comfortable. There are also very supportive with myself and all of my family members.
When takes 4 or 5 days to get equipment delivered and over a week to get it removed after someone passes is ridiculous!
Lovely nurse, terrible company. First intake visit they made all sorts of promises of help and support and resources, nowhere to be found when we actually needed help. Poorly run and poorly managed. My sister and I were left to care for our father basically on our own for the last weeks of his life. Helios Care did very little to support us, educate or train us in providing our own hospice care. Thankfully the nurse we did see went above and beyond and was very kind and helpful.
This Group scheduled a consultation to come in and explain what services were offered “when it was time for hospice”. These women acted more like Rainbow Vac salesmen and offered enrollment multiple times. They know nothing about my father’s health status - we haven’t even had an updated Oncology appointment yet (it’s later this week). Case in point: my father is still actively receiving treatment.
