This was by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The property is directly above a bar, and the noise is unbearable. Loud music and shouting continue late into the night, making it impossible to sleep. If you are looking for any kind of rest, this is absolutely the wrong place. The bathroom and shower are shared, which is already inconvenient. Even worse, some rooms share a wall with the bathroom. Been going for years and usually get takeaway from bistro. Always been given the discount on Monday’s, but was told today they don’t do it anymore after conveniently paying. Probably will go elsewhere
I’m commenting on Bistro. It’s been approximately 3 years since I’ve been up this way. I suggested to my friends to have lunch there, to order scotch fillet steak. Neither of us enjoyed, mine was very grissley,no flavour at all, under cooked, pepper sauce I think was out of a packet, could be wrong, salad delicious, chips crunchy. Chef very friendly and nice personality. Bar staff also friendly. On holidays for five nights, we’ve been out for two meals here and Kiama, unfortunately, we didn’t enjoy either.,
We didn't eat here as we had a function elsewhere, we stayed the night. The room was clean, airy, tidy and very comfortable. The shared bathrooms were very clean with all the amenities. Very economical and I would recommend it
