OK store – Helen Yi has higher end designer labels and most pieces have a minimal aesthetic. A decent selection but I've never purchased anything because everything is so expensive. The sales people aren't overly helpful, I always feel like I'm being judged on my outfit when I go in. A good place to go if you are looking for designer lines or formal business attire and don't mind spending some money.
Margaret S. The pieces at Helen Yi are truly special. In a sea of the same old same old, Helen Yi is the place to find upcoming, important designers. The collections in her store are sophisticated, classic, and at the same time cutting edge. Yes there are some expensive items, but as the saying goes, "you get what you pay for". And, what you receive is plenty. Not only are the pieces extraordinary, but the assistance I received was honest, friendly and incredibly valuable.
Very expensive Helen Yi has some beautiful pieces for women, but the selection is sparse and the items are incredibly expensive. It is a good place to shop if you are looking for a very special designer piece.
very high end boutique Helen Yi is a very sophisticated and hip little spot in Wicker Park and offers some really nice lines of clothing. However, the prices here are pretty outrageous considering I didn't see any recognizable designers' names. I was slightly afraid to touch some of the clothes, as they really are beautiful and worth a small down payment on a house.
