I made an appointment for my 13 year old daughter and came in with her to check her in. The manicurist gave her a pallette to pick out colors and I let them know I would be back to pick her up later. When I came back an hour later to pick her up, they were just taking her to get her manicure started. I was appalled that no one let me know that they were running so late and they just left my daughter sitting there for so long. We also ended up missing an event that we were supposed to attend.

If I could give 0 stars for customer service, I would. I arrived at 9:07am, just minutes after Helen’s Nail Shop opened, and the shop was clearly not busy. I asked for a pedicure and was immediately told, “We too busy, can’t take you.” No offer to wait, no chance to schedule an appointment — just a flat-out refusal with no explanation. They advertise that “walk-ins are welcome,” but that clearly wasn’t the case. The dismissive attitude and lack of professionalism were extremely disappointing.
