Was there for 9 hours with my pregnant daughter and was being told they were waiting on test results. They ran every kind of test there was and we got no updates. The doctor was very rude and not personable at all! We ended up leaving after 9 hours with no info AMA. Only plus to this visit was the nurses. They were 5!
Every staff member I encountered was very nice. The doctor could have had a better bedside manner but that’s how some are. The only reason I gave 3 stars is as sweet as my two nurses were, one didn’t use gloves when putting my urine specimen into a vial and she also didn’t wear gloves when drawing my blood and starting my IV, she took the cap off the needle with her teeth and that’s a pet peeve of mine. My 68 year old mother came to the ER by ambulance after a fall down bleachers at a ball game. The male nurse could not find her a pillow and downplayed my mother's insistance she was having trouble moving. After x-rays and scans she was sent home saying all was clear and she was just going to sore. 5 days later and she got a second opinion because of the pain and it is a BROKEN COLLAR BONE.
Still the slowest ER in the area. Second time I've visited and the nurse says, "you'll have to stay in the lobby, we have a lot of open rooms but they haven't been cleaned." Same thing happened the last time I was here. Maybe don't spend money on face-lift to the er portion of the hospital while care suffers.
