Terrible bedside manner, lacks any semblance of care and warmth that one would hope to get from their oncologist while they’re battling cancer, and she orders countless body scans and delays treatment of active grade 3 cancer. I’m currently trying to be transferred over to another UC Davis oncologist before her conduct results in my cancer spreading to my lymph nodes. Avoid at all costs.

Dr. Chow was my mother’s doctor. My mother was previously diagnosed with non alcoholic cirrhosis. Knowing this, Dr. Chow prescribed several iron infusions. Immediately after the last infusion my mother developed ascites. We then received a second opinion, we were told by the new doc iron infusions should not be prescribed to individuals with cirrhosis. My mom passed away last year. I wish my mom had access to better doctors.

I do not recommend Dr. Chow, she was treating me mother and recommended treatments that made her condition worse and when we received a second opinion, we learned Dr. Chow’s treatments were not treatments that should’ve EVER been recommended for my mother’s illness. We had no way of knowing any different. I just wanted to warn others.
