Dr. Helen Cappuccino is a caring, knowledgeable surgeon whose warm demeanor really helped calm my nerves when I was recently confronted with some medical problems. I can highly recommend her.
I saw Dr. Cappuccino for preventative cancer care, a double mastectomy. As I am transgender it also bonused as gender affirming care. I had tested positive for the BRCA1 mutation and with a significant family history of breast cancer, I wanted to take preventative action. Dr. Cappuccino was absolutely wonderful. ALWAYS feel cared for, staff is always willing to listen and answer questions. I have been getting mammograms at Roswell since 1991; was diagnosed in 2022 with breast cancer; Dr Cappuccino SUCCESSFULLY performed surgery and discussed treatment options. She demonstrates concern for me; THANK YOU FOR SAVING MY LIFE.
I did not see Dr. Cappuccino. Only a PA. She was very nice, but I am not happy with the explanation of results nor the comment on my mammogram “probably nothing”. I was once told by a doctor the he was 95% sure I didn’t have cancer, and he was wrong. To wait six months for a “probably nothing”after having cancer 2x is not reassuring at all.
