I was expecting traditional, American Japanese food, but got something different. Not necessarily bad, but not even would I consider it traditional Japanese in Japan. No real flavor what we got and the size of the sushi rolls were twice what I consider eatable in one bite.

the overall feel is fun and cute, but the inside seating area smelled like armpits. outside seating was nice, eclectic and fun but our table was off balance badly. the food was horrible. the miso soup tasted like it was from a powder mix i buy at the store and had the same texture. the dumplings were OKAY. the entrées were incredibly bland. the rice tasted like minute microwaveable rice with absolutely no seasonings added whatsoever. the chicken katsu was literally just overcooked chicken in plain panko. i assume the little ... read more

My mother and I have been coming here off-and-on for years now. I used to really enjoy their food, but they seem to have really gone downhill recently. A few days ago, we ordered the fried pork dumplings, the spicy garlic chicken dinner, and kitsune udon via Doordash. They initially gave a different soup instead of the udon, which we had to go to pick up in-person as we would have had to pay for a delivery.
