Dr. Benjamin Heisler is a kind and patient doctor. He really listens, takes his time to explain things clearly, and makes sure you feel heard and understood. It is wonderful to have such a caring and respectful doctor in our community. We are lucky to have him.
During colonoscopy he discovered 3cm cancerous tumor...6 weeks later performed laparoscopic colectomy removing significant portion of colon...after 3 nights in hospital he released me...after 7-10 days at home all pain and discomfort was gone ( no complications). I consider myself very fortunate to have been under his care and knew immediately I was in good hands....skill level and communication 2nd to none (he made it look easy).
Exceptional professionalism and empathy to my issues. Made me feel very comfortable at all times. Answered all of my questions. Can’t say enough good about him. Promptly seen me in recovery after excision surgery and was very pleasant and consistent in his mannerisms. If I could rate above 5 stars I would!! Amazing caring human:)
First time going to see Dr. Heisler as my son had an appointment with him, he was very friendly, informative, explained everything throughly, very nice doctor. Thank you Dr. Heisler for everything you did for my son.
Awesome surgeon. He is very direct and doesn't sugar coat what is happening.
