Kind, knowledgeable and generous. I'm a hobbyists laser engraver and he helped me pick out some stunning planks and live edge cuts to use on future projects at a more than reasonable price. Cut to size and does sanding. I'll be back once I'm working through a couple of the planks we bought from him.
Ken is amazing!! And our mantel is perfect. My daughter and I called the week of Thanksgiving, and our pieces were beautifully finished in less than a week. Just in time to finish decorating for Christmas! I would highly recommend and will be a repeat customer.
We had three enormous oak logs that needed to be sawed. Because Ken is also a woodworker he was very good at advising about the best way and options for cutting the logs. Once he started he worked to complete the job quickly even helping us put the wood into storage for air drying. I highly recommend using this company for sawing your tree logs into usable lumber.

Ken is truly a highly skilled craftsman. He is also careful, courteous and kind. I am making a Celtic harp using solid pieces of walnut. Ken helped me locate the 5" deep walnut slab I needed and made perfect first outline cuts. He later rescued the project from a major botch (made by someone else) which forced me off of the plans and which presented many difficult problems.
