I brought in my chef’s knives for sharpening, and the results were incredible! They’re sharper than when I first bought them. The service was quick, professional, and affordable. The staff even gave me tips on maintaining the sharpness at home. If you’re in Louisville and need your knives or tools sharpened, Heimerdinger Cutlery is the place to go. Highly recommend!
There should be more stores like this around! My mom and I stopped in today as first time customers. We were greeted with a welcome gift, and the staff was very knowledgeable. The store has a wide selection of knives and cutlery, and also offers sharpening services. I would much rather spend my time and money here than a big box store! 10/10 would recommend to anyone who cooks and uses high quality knives!
It’s so wonderful to find a business that values service and quality. We are a household on a fixed income so getting our “good knife” sharpened for $8 was a real treat. Also learned about the layaway program and are looking forward to eventually having good knives (plural).
