Heidi's hours Heidi's is the only LYS for miles. Since the shop isn't internet savvy (no website), here's her hours: Mon-Fri. 10:00-5:30 Sat. 10:00-4:30 I was disappointed that I couldn't find her hours on-line so I got her card when I shopped.
Incredible selection of fibers! Heidi's Yarn Haven is located in downtown Ukiah, near the courthouse. The selection of yarns available is mind blowing! The staff is always available to help you if you're "stuck" in a knitting or crochet project. Prices are somewhat high, but you get what you pay for.
Monika I am a frequent flyer at Heidi's and just love the store and Heidi the owner. Beautiful yarns and a huge selection and decent prices. Heh, let's face it good yarn is expensive, but why knit with anything less? I was a complete novice when I started to knit and Heidi held my hand all the way to the present. Forever patient, helpful explaining pattern language, demonstrating stitches and most of all encouraging me to continue and nudging me to try new stuff and continue to learn and to become a better knitter.

This gorgeous yarn store is like an oasis or candy store. Love sitting at the round table on Saturday mornings working on a knitting project in good company.
