Had a great experience here! Our wonderful server Freddie was personable & attentive without ever making us feel rushed. The ambiance is amazing — intimate but busy enough where you feel comfortable having a conversation. The food and drinks were excellent, and it was easy to make a same day reservation. I will definitely be back!
A bit disappointed by the overall experience. First, when we entered the restaurant, there was a very unpleasant smell inside. My wife and her sister immediately mentioned that they would rather eat outside on the terrace because of it. Unfortunately, that was not the best first impression. Excellent wine bar with a varied selection for all tastes that is still manageable to read. The atmosphere is top notch to go with the wines, lit romantically yet more for a neighborhood than a high powered dinner. Food wise the staples are good, but to be fair I'm going for the wine.
Made a reservation for 2 on the morning/day (a Friday) of via their website, and got an email confirmation around noon. The place is small but they have overflow seating at their sister restaurant next door which has almost the same interior. They accept walk-ins too. Ed’s had great service and a lovely wine list. Went late on a Saturday night and it wasn’t too crowded. Personally, I felt like the lighting and vibe was better for a low key hang with friends than for a date night.
