Dr. Heidi Memmel is the best doctor I’ve ever met. She is not only incredibly skilled and brilliant, but also kind, caring, and truly compassionate. I found her to be very cold - she felt the need to tell me my breasts were uneven on the day of my mastectomy. She then 4 days after my 5 1/2 hour surgery that I looked tired. Don’t recommend her at all !
From my initial consultation with Dr. Memmel I knew she was the one I wanted to perform my mastectomy. She took the time to get to know me and my concerns. She explained everything to me in a way I could understand it. She treated me like a human being and not just an MRN number. She called me before my surgery to check in and go over surgery one more time and that meant more to me than she will ever understand.
