I went to Heidi’s a year ago after my unilateral mastectomy and had Tracy as an assistant. She was amazing. Very experienced and the visit was so comfortable. I scheduled an appointment a month ago and spoke with the receptionist about some body changes and issues I was having with my bras and prosthesis. Thank you Heide's! Katie carefully re-measured my legs when I came to pick up my order when she noticed they had gotten smaller so I would have the correct size compression wraps to wear during recovery from vein procedure. So important to help me heal! Thank you Katie!
I traveled to Minneapolis and forgot my donning gloves and foot sleeve that aids in putting on my compression knee highs. I stopped in the Edina store to pick up a new pair of knee highs that included the sleeve. I have never been treated so rudely. The receptionist said they were appointment only (even though there were no customers and 3 employees present) and I explained I was traveling and hoping they could help me out. Less than one week after I purchased a pair of compression knee high stockings, I found a run in the heel. Also the fit (measuring) was obviously wrong. The tops of the stockings cut into my knee causing the fluid downward, accumulating in my ankle and foot. Obviously they were too tight. When I returned them I was charged a restocking fee of 25%. I thought this was outrageous because the stocking had to have been defective and I should not have had to take the hit for a pair of stockings that didn’t even last a week. Also, ... read more
