We bought a cnc control package installed in our new KBC knee mill and it never worked right. They came out to try and fix it a couple times and it kept having issues. Then they just pretty much said there was nothing more they would do for me. The solution I suggested was to just gut the entire system and bring me out a new package since all three axis were acting up. Ever since Covid Heidenhain's customer service and tech support have been lacking. Takes them a long time to respond to emails, they stop responding to emails, ship to the wrong address, won't ship direct from Germany using our shipping account number, parts request take longer than normal. I have brought this to the attention of our sales representative and obviously they know there is a problem but it doesn't seem like they are willing to fix it. I was told to come here for an interview by their HR, Amanda N., through email only to be greeted by other people in the building that had no idea I was suppose to be there. Never got interviewed. Was given an excuse the next day and was told it was up to me to come to the interview again when they weren’t even there to interview me in the first place. Poor communication & bad management. Definitely recommend staying away from places that treat you like this.
Good controls, but I was unable to get through to anyone after multiple attempts of emails, and voicemails. I gave up and went with a different system.
