So happy to have discovered Heidelberg Antiques. Diana and her husband, Jim, were so helpful, their antiques are beautiful and unique, straight out of Europe, and their prices are fair. I stumbled in and ended up walking out with several special items. I will definitely be back over and over and have instructed my husband that this is where he should shop for me for Christmas! Loved everything in the shop.
This store is magic. It has such wonderful things, I have to prevent myself from going there because I know I will have to buy something! The owners are wonderful, and passionate about their merchandise. Best store in Denver, to my mind.
I shop there often and they are two of the nicest people. They have always been kind and helpful to me. The mercandise is excellent quality. My house is decorated in much of what I have bought there. I get compliments on the Dutch and German things I have bought. It is orginal and the real thing. Several pieces I would love to have and wish they had lay away. I really can not go in to the shop without purchasing something. They have great travel stores and decorative ideas.
I also had a bad experience at this store and when I asked to purchase something at the counter they acted really annoyed that I even asked. Then they told me I could just leave the store if I didn't like it. So I did. But that was OK because I got the same thing on E-bay for 1/4 the price the next day.
The shopkeepers in this store are extremely rude to customers and would rather talk amongst themselves than make a sale. I suggest going on line and getting german items for 1/2 the price rather than visiting this store.
I found the prices in this store to be really inflated and the person behind the desk was really arrogant
