I'm a Mexican food guy. If you asked me what food I would eat, for every meal, every day, until I died of boredom, it would without a doubt be tacos, and if I'm allowed some wiggle room, tacos and enchiladas. Hefes (spelled as such to keep the pronunciation straight) is my new favorite taco spot in town. Introduced to it by a local bartender, I went and gave it a try. Service was ok but the food was not very good. Had a beef burrito which had some kind of filler in it I think mostly beans, the green chile looked and tasted like out of a can was terrible. O yeah to have it smothered was extra. My wife had a pork taco with rice and green chile on side, disgusting green chile I have eaten at lot of Mexican restaurants and this is not the place I would ever go back or recommend. Like the one previous review said if you don't get food poison has to be at least 1 star.
