Had my Laparoscopic Appendicectomy (appendicitis removal) by surgeon A Rodrigo, been told that a key hole surgery that supposed have 3 small scars...( should be 1cm, and 2 × 0,5 cm) finished with 2 big ugly scars over 2 cm and one ov them not even straight... only one scar was up to standard. No complications before and during surgery. Poor workmanship, really disappointinted.

I was admitted to A&E early on Friday 4 July with severe pain. I cannot thank the staff, doctors and nurses enough for their care and concern. There is nothing that they didn’t do or try for me. I was airlifted by the RFDS and flown to Perth on Sunday 6 July as a result. This is to let them know my appreciation and to let them know that I survived and I am back home in our caravan almost ready to keep travelling! Flew in via RFDS. Was told going to PT Hedland then Perth to see the cardiologist. Stayed the night in Emergency dept . Next day told would be flying to Perth to see the cardiologist. Spent all day in emergency dept. Next day told would be flying to Perth for cardiologist. Spent all day and night in emergency department. Once again no sleep because of the constant yelling in emergency. Next day had a cardiologist come somewhere near my room who made a decision for a cardiac procedure next week in Perth. My wife Genny was admitted into the emergency department on the 28th of April and then into the general ward. The staff and doctors were magnificent in the treatment they gave her. Everyone was very professional, accommodating and caring and kept us constantly informed about Genny’s progress. Thank you very much to all the Port Hedland doctors, nurses and staff for all the love and compassion shown to Genny while she was there.
