Great showcase of homes showing all the different choices to make your house customized for you. Worth the drive if you don't live in the area.
Pick the right team. During our early research we did site visits to 6 or 7 model homes. From that list we conducted factory tours of two builders. Both were able to show us the complete process and materials used. We were impressed with the quality of materials used by Heckaman. They use checklists at every step in the build process to make sure everything is done right and complete. Horrible quality, terrible experience truly and I’ll be paying for it for 30 years. My house is less than 3 years old and my cabinets are already falling apart. And these are the upgraded cabinets.
This is my 2nd System Built home and I love it! Marty Pinna, Carriage Custom Homes, Buckley, MI expertly guided me through the whole process. Cold northern Michigan winters have been no match for my new home. It is solidly built with an elevated pitched roof that allowed me to style porches and garage that compliment my design.
