The American Pickers appearance was good , but the stories the owner told were greatly embellished. His character & desire to make a buck overshadowed the historical value of the place- very disappointing.

Just saw Mr Hecht on American Pickers. I must say this was the best episode I have ever watched. The history of their family business , the history of the garment district was incredible! Next Time I’m in NYC it would be worth the stop just to talk with him and his family !! Thank you!

I have a Juki MO-735 serger that broke down after my needle snapped and got caught in the needle plate (pressing down on the pedal, I'd hear the motor but the machinery wouldn't move anymore). My machine is portable and has a clamshell design that hides most screws and makes it hard to disassemble and troubleshoot, so I was pretty nervous that it wouldn't be able to be fixed as it's not as serviceable compared to an industrial machine.
