We stayed at the Lighthouse Inn. It was more than just a night stay it was an experience . As soon as we arrived we felt like we were transported in time. The Inn still in the original families ownership and was full of historical artefacts. Staying at the Inn we got to go to the lighthouse after hours, so surreal, quiet and the breakfast was a 7 course formal farm to table formal sit down breakfast. Bucket list moment checked off and highly recommend it.
Not that far of a walk and the views were amazing!!! Perfect for when you are taking a trip up the coast and need to walk for a little bit.
Everytime we visit we are enchanted. This place and it's surroundings are one of the most beautiful places on earth. And the hosts are wonderfully welcoming. Helpful, charming, warm and informative. Cheerful, and talented, always ready to answer questions and listen to tales of travel. We spent our 40th Anniversery here and it was as magical as our previous visits!
Heceta Head park and lighthouse are always amazing every time we visit. Typically fall is very quiet, but weather still wonderful and sunny. Trail to lighthouse is well kept, definitely an incline to get there, but not far. Spectacular views from the top. Well appointed gift shop midway if you need a stop. Visiting here never gets old!
