Went to Chris for oil leak on my Cummins. He indicated it was the crankshaft seal in which he replaced. I still had an oil leak. I took it to a different mechanic and they determined it was not only the crankshaft seal that was installed improperly but the oil pan had rusted which was overlooked by Chris's shop. I am the kind of person that likes things done correctly the first time. So needless to say I will not be back and I did not contact them. However, I did pay for the job a second time with a different mechanic.
Chris , the owner of Heavy Duty Diesel Medic helped me out and did excellent ram air upgrade to my 2020 ram cummins engine. Improved my engine performance. He can do just about everything I’ll ever need done. Thankyou Chris!
While attending an event at a Kalamazoo car show, my hot rod broke down. I was towed to this repair shop. Chris, the owner, repaired my hot rod quickly. He was very knowledgeable, well-mannered and I was comfortable with the on-the-spot repair. He even checked the opposite side brake assembly and applied thread lock and tighten the bolts. Within an hour, I was on my way to the hotel.
CAUTION!!! The Heavy Duty Diesel Medic aka Chris is both a liar and a thief. I took my class A motorhome to his shop due to an oil leak and overheating problem. His diagnosis was a leaking fuel pump and a worn out radiator fan clutch. I was told he would price out the parts and call me back with an estimate. He then presented a bill for diagnostic labor and “miscellaneous merchandise” that totaled $168.80 which I paid in cash on the spot.
